Leg

Leg – Our leg is made up of four main muscle groups the hamstrings, quadriceps, adductors and calf. These muscles all work together to allow us to undertake the many tasks we require of our legs on a daily basis.

Commonly injured areas in our leg tend to be either soft tissue related (muscle or tendon) or joint related (ligament, bone, cartilage etc). The three main joints of the leg, the ankle, knee and hip as well as their common injuries have been spoken about in greater depth in their respective links.

Below you will find more specific information on the calf muscle group, hamstring group and quadricep group of muscles via their individual buttons.

If you are experiencing a lower limb injury and seeking professional opinion please make a booking.
