At Physio Plus we take clinical pilates seriously!
Before joining a group pilates class one of our Pilates trained physiotherapists and exercise physiologists assesses your patient’s current strengths and weaknesses and design a programme that specifically addresses their individual needs.
Who will benefit from Pilates?
Pilates is ideal for improving sports performance, therapeutic exercise for back pain, as general fitness, to improve whole body strength and to improve flexibility suppleness. It is low impact so perfect for patients with joint pain. Our clinical approach is one of the main reasons why many doctors refer their patients to Physio Plus for Pilates.
Who teaches Pilates?
All pilates sessions are instructed by a physiotherapist or exercise physiologist.
What classes do we offer?
Our physiotherapists offer both individual treatment sessions and small group classes with a special interest in spinal pain and acute injury rehabilitation. Our small Pilates group sessions are geared around a specialised and invidualised approach. Class numbers are kept low to maximise individual attention for each client.
We have a number of classes, including:
Beginner and intermediate reformer classes
Beginner and intermediate matwork classes
Advanced reformer classes
Because our classes are run by physiotherapists and exercise physiologists private health rebates apply! More details, the current schedule, and bookings can be made by contacting your closest clinic here!
